Getting to Know Drew Paton-Glassbrook: 

Drew attended The Evergreen State College where he received his bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology in 2018. While there, he studied molecular virology focusing on intracellular interactions between competing bacteriophage during the infection process. Drew joined the Trail lab in the fall of 2018 where he is working on his PhD in Plant Pathology. He is on a USDA funded project investigating the community makeup of the wheat microbiome and its potential uses in suppression of Fusarium graminearum infection and plant growth promotion.
